Chip Carving Progress. or Not

Featured Replies

I have just about filled up both sides of mt practice block. I can see some progress but not doing anything I'd be willing to put my name on just yet.

chiplearning.JPG.d6d76b5317907f0c2359abc667231913.JPGDid this one just this evening. I would guess by now I've done at least 500 of these three corner chip cutouts. This is the best one so far. It's funny, I'll do one and think, "that's pretty good". Then, I do a few more and look at them as a unit and wonder, what was I looking at? There is so much junk and rough cuts. Getting better I think but still a long way to go.

Definitely see an improvement each picture.  I'm sure practice, practice and practice some more is the key to success.  You're getting there quickly.

Wow, you have far more patience than I.

That said, I too see the improvements.

You're definitely getting there.

I see the wax is going on well , now to wax off. That is quite an improvement. I even see a star pattern.
