May 17, 20187 yr I've been the scrap pile again, experimenting with wood and acrylic glitter. The ball is thin pieces of Yellow Hart and Bubinga (I think). The shaft is plain ole pine. I painted the pine and I layered the glitter in thick layers in the crease and allowed to dry overnight, then repeated with the glitter. It came out OK and I think I may have an effect I'll use in the future
May 17, 20187 yr Ok maybe it is me . I like the ball but glitter is just not my thing. The layering (lamination ) in the ball is perfect

You may find a new technique that highlights you whole project................or not so much
