School has been out here all week. Today is the first day above freezing.

Hoping to get out to the shop tomorrow and straighten up and start doing a little woodworking.

So how about you all, what’s on you woodworking agenda? Share your project with us. We love to hear all about what your working on.

Got the river table to the stage of making a pattern for the glass. Pattern sent to the glass guys today. Until the glass is in hand, all I can do is sand it and start the legs. The hunk that got cut off one end of the slab is almost round and around 14" across. Thinking it might make a companion end table.

Going to try pouring Alumilite into the voids of the turning I'm work on. Hope it doesn't make too big of a mess in the kitchen!!

Now ya' know what it's like to live in Indiana from December to April.

Early trip to HS in the AM for girls to catch the bus for an all day swim invitational. Grandpa has begged off  this one...way too much sitting. I can follow their (meet) progress on a phone app. Supposed to break 40 Sat and near 50 Sunday.

I may venture out into the garage and look around some.

Today I cleaned the shop so that I can start the finish in a pair of cherry bookcases.  Tomorrow morning, the shop is home to my neighbor and his son as they make their pinewood derby cars.  IMG_1617.JPGIMG_1615.JPGIMG_1616.JPG

Had to go and buy some more lumber, BEFORE the fellow leaves to go "Down Under"  and visit his daughter's brood down there.....until almost May.   Would have to trust Borg Lumber until then.

15 bf for about $0.80 a bf......

Cold is still kicking my tail, the one in my chest, that is.    Been at it about a week, now.   Starting to feel a little better, now...

Hope you're feeling better Steve  That $0.80 a bf has to help a little. I'd have to be really desperate to buy hardwoods at the Borg
