I have some scrap pieces of cultured marble. Has anybody tried making pens out of this?

    Cultured marble has pieces of stone imbedded in it and would be hard to drill let alone turn.  The plastic counter tops such as Corian are a better choice for pen making.

    Thanks. I have a few trimmings from a remodel and thought it would be best to ask before I tried it.
