You may not be as prone to things like we are on a Rural Cooperative, but we occasionally have power off occurrences for unknown reasons, then back on...I've seen the lights come back on brighter momentarily before it stabilizes. Farm equipment sometimes takes out power poles too getting hung up in brace wires. IDK, just thought it might be worth checking into for when your using it.

The do have whole house surge protectors.
