April 10, 20179 yr For the last few years I've wanted to do a week at one of the wood working or craft schools. There is a highly regarded school in Franklin IN. Marc Adams School of Woodworking. Glenn Lucas will be there in Sept. and I just registered to attend. Really looking forward to it. Steve

April 10, 20179 yr Steve, I've been lucky enough to meet Marc Adams on several occasions and I have been to his school on business a couple of times. He is the best of the best. His school is an unbelievable facility with first rate teachers and equipment (free soft-serve ice cream too!) You have every right to be excited... should be a great experience. Someday I hope to be able to take some classes there too. You are a lucky man!

Sounds like the free ice cream is worth the trip alone.

From what I've seen on his site the school and various classes are fantastic. I've been by there a few times but never stopped in. Sounds like it will be a great time and learning experience. Our local Woodworking Club was fortunate to host him for a Saturday last month...I had registered but unfortunately was unable to attend as it was the day after Mom's funeral. Missed a great 1 Day Seminar but there is talk about making it an annual event.
