Each person who utilizes these threads (or any other for that matter) needs to ask some questions of themselves before hitting Submit...Would I want my spouse, son/daughter/grandchild/niece/nephew, minister/pastor, or any child's elementary school teacher to read my post? Would I want this post to appear in my local newspaper or on the evening news with my name on it? We (I) often forget our circle extends far beyond those who regularly post here.

Above all, the most important consideration is to have a site of integrity that is family friendly and is inviting to all who share a passion for woodworking while having a venue to support our military men & women.

Couldn't have said it better myself, thanks @Grandpadave52.

I think you should have opened up this topic instead of me!

I don't get out here every day, although it seems that way sometimes.   I would rather volunteer my time and effort than lose the extra nonsense that goes on (and if i'm guilty, just smack me now).  It has to cost something in overhead to keep any thread going and some of those were pretty long, so i'm not sure you need that extra expense with some of those threads going on and on.

Just an update, we are working on this issue, we will arrive at a solution soon, thank you again for your patience. Our staff is working!

Late to the party here, and while I have glanced at most of those title threads, I'm not even close to being a regular. But what about a warning system, this may be more work than it's worth....but if it's a small number of members maybe give them a warning through PM the first time, and then a suspension for several days? There probably needs to be a third step, but then again, maybe not. Anyway, just a thought...seems like I've seen that described on other forums, though I can't remember where.
