The weather was very nice but way too many old people out there during the winter months clogging up the streets and parking lots.

Careful there Allen...think we outnumber you here and we know where you live:P

On top of that Tami's Mom had to take her cat "Shadow" in to get groomed but they found that the cat's hair was so matted down deep that they had to shave her. Now we are calling the cat "Puss In Boots". That cat has never liked me and I don't like her either.

See Gene's response below...cats do not like to be mocked...;)

Oh darn...."have to go back for the rest of the walnut"...; probably will have to add on to the secret stash barn and call Borax to borrow the 20 mule-team:lol:

Yep and you best NOT be doing anything either...we're watching and will file a report if need be... BTW, how's the DP inventory holding up?

@Grandpadave52 => DP supply is holding up fine. The wife stocked me up before she left with DP and lots of frozen dinners

I really like the new Forum Collapse feature and the new Footer addition. I can't imagine how heavy that storage unit  "Eye Candy of the Week" might be. The Shakers might have been minimalists of design but not always girth.

As for the weekend, after last week and especially Friday, Sat. was a let down day...my horses had exhausted power...Sunday a few errands after church, wife, grand-daughters & I went to lunch at our favorite, family operated Mexican restaurant...good thing my oldest grand-daughter is becoming fluent in Spanish; helps bridge the language gap...owners don't speak the most fluent English, BUT, their food and service is 5 Star fantastic.

Came home, perused Sunday paper, then tackled replacing the #7 OPC on my truck and fixing a couple of other issues I discovered...oldest grandson & I took for extended test drive...Scanner shows problem resolved...Returned rental car last night...

Today, having fun reading others input on this thread and providing my exhorting cajoling support as needed to my fellow Patriot Woodworkers:D Middle school Choir concert tonight at 7 I only learned about mid-day; youngest grand-daughter has her last two regular season swim meets this week before Conference Championships next week...Step-father wants to meet with a couple monument companies this week to start selecting headstone for mom & him plus other business related items...Youngest step-brother will be returning to San Antonio late in week so need to get some quality time in with him...if weather comes through as predicted, going to spend some time outdoors just enjoying nature...

Glad you've got that truck running on all 8 Dave.

I'm sure your grand-daughter will do really well in the championship events. When she gets a bit older, maybe she'd like to come out here. The State hires about 27 lifeguards at the beach each year. Our lifeguards have a terrific record. Most years they win the competition between the lifeguards from beaches in MA and NH, but their rescues tell the real story.

Hope your Stepfather is doing OK.

That feeling when the Ford starts and runs.

Thanks Al...nice to have the truck back for sure...don't be putting ideas into those girls heads:D...an offer to spend the summer on the beach versus working in the garden, picking up sticks and the like would make them disappear in a minute I think. Oldest completed her Life-Guard Certification a couple months ago...think she has thoughts of a summer job this year around one of the local pools especially since she'll be getting her drivers license about then...Good grief! Step-father is doing OK considering...attending to a lot of the personal business side...Funeral Home was very helpful with a very comprehensive guide and support staff. Thank-you for asking.
