Popular Post Dadio Posted February 16, 2017 Popular Post Report Posted February 16, 2017 (edited) These have been out for awhile and came on sale a while back ,so I had to try them out. First picture is the way I usually run trim through the router table, and then the new way. I like the new ones, they do what they are advertised to do. Fred W. Hargis Jr Posted February 16, 2017 Report Posted February 16, 2017 I have not, but I've often yearned for a set. Someday maybe, my RT is getting due for a revamp, maybe when I do that. Dadio 1 Quote

Herb Yeah be careful though...the Board Buddies had more camber angle to them and had sort of a one way clutch to prevent kick-back...I never owned those either but used a couple saws with them. Kinda' PITA unless all you were doing was ripping, dadoes or maybe molding head, but pretty much fool proof...never used any on a router table although they're advertised for such...Think what you bought would be much better on a router table... Dadio Posted February 16, 2017 Author Report Posted February 16, 2017 I haven't used those either, but I think I would opt for feather boards on the TS before those. But you have a good point about kick back prevention. The thing I like about the router table ones is you can run the board into the bit ant then pull it back to check the cut before you make your run. With feather boards on the router table it is difficult to reverse direction, which it should be, but hard to check the height setting on the bit. Herb Grandpadave52 1 Quote
Grandpadave52 Posted February 16, 2017 Report Posted February 16, 2017 Yeah, I prefer the feather boards on the table saw too...still adapting and playing around with them on my router table for best performance and agreed they can be a PITA...I do really like the simplicity of what you bought and appearing to be pretty easy to set/adjust...I just need to upgrade my RT fence...oh and upgrade the table the fence attaches to...
