You mean I'm NOT alone? All my money went for fishing tackle..... none left for pot, even IF I had wanted it!

That sounds like what I did, the tobacco was free, we had some in the barn that we put in the cow feed, and I saved my school lunch money for fishing tackle.

I wasn't too fussy back then, Dave! (Forgot Capt. Morgan, a good friend!) Taste improved later in life, but now I've given it all up after a rather nasty medical episode. (Diabetes-related.)

As for the "Canadian" quip, remember WE have the REAL beer! not that watered-down stuff you get.

John, my sugar count this morning was 99. I'll have two fingers of Scotch this evening and a finger for you.;)

Thanks, Gene. Did you know that alcohol can LOWER your blood sugars VERY rapidly? I didn't, until I woke up in the hospital with most of my tongue gone. Apparently I was pretty rough on the ambulance guys too, but I have no recollection of ANY of it. Grand Mal seizure! Rather give up drinking than go through THAT again.

Wow. No, I didn't know that. Maybe I should have a bit of dark chocolate first.

I never wanted anything to do with it and i still don't.

Seem that the people that has played with it never

had anything to show for there life. When I was in

the army the barracks at night the smoke from it

would hang heavy inside. I made sure I did not

sleep on the upper bunks...
