January 14, 20179 yr Popular Post I say that just about every time but this one could be special I think. About 19" diameter and five inches deep. Spectacular grain and markings in it as well. There's going to be a bit of sanding and I'll probably let it dry for a couple months but if it turns out I'm going to call it "ET" Steve

Hope we both have the patience to wait the for the finished results here...It's going to be over the moon (ok pun intended) Thanks for teasing us with the in process results.

Thanks all, right now it is full of potential and I'll be very happy if/when it fills that. Lew, a few years ago I found a buy on an older PM4224 on CL. I can spin 24" so this was done over the ways. January 14, 20179 yr Better than nice give it 10 stars ********** You certainly did a good job centering the crotch on the center of the bowl. Herb
January 14, 20179 yr Even before it's "done"...it's still really really nice... Hopefully it stays "done" and you've got a real keeper.
January 15, 20179 yr Great looking piece. I looked at the pictures and was thinking that thing looks like a dinosaur. It is also beautiful. Sure hope stays as it is
January 16, 20179 yr Beautiful use of dark and light wood in that one Steve. What a great looking bowl, love it! For a check in, does it still look good? Will it be a keeper?

Will it be a keeper? Thanks John. I first wrapped it Sat. so I probably won't look at it until Fri. or so. Will probably slap another coat of shellac on it and wrap it back up. Unless it completely blows up it's definitely a keeper.

No peeking...remember what Ernest & Julio used to say..."no fine bowl before it's time..." Well I'm pretty sure it was them that said that
