January 2, 20179 yr Been sick several days myself, but mine is more related to my eating issues that I have been battling for a long time now. I keep hoping it will get better, and for a while, it does, but then it goes back to the same old can't keep anything down.. I hope to be able to get back on the lathe soon, and probably will tomorrow.

I think I'm more frustrated than you are right now!
January 3, 20179 yr Hope things get better Charles. Is it a particular food type that causes the problem?
January 3, 20179 yr Seems I got the crud from my wife but nearly as severe. At least I don't have the funeral director on call. Well, actually I do. He's a friend of mine. This week I'll be installed three shelving units at the library (pictures forthcoming) and I got an order today for a television stand. When the customer figures out what she wants, that will my next project.
January 3, 20179 yr -- Managed to finally get a good old fashioned head cold of my own after sharing everyone else's the past few weeks. didn't even watch much football today... -- Weather forecast to hit the tubes again after tomorrow in the teens and single digits so no shop time regardless. -- Once I get beyond this cold a bit, will be spending time at Nursing Home with mom as possible. -- Will try to get some pictures taken and posted of a couple recent rust hunts...picked up a little Stanley 101 model-makers plane just before Christmas and a Stanley 201 block plane + a pretty decent Dunlap 4217 Push drill with 7/8 bits on Saturday. -- Maybe try tomorrow to finally fix the clothes dryer after a couple of weeks...trips to hospital & now nursing home consume most of free time right now. -- Truck is past due for oil change and a number of small undone projects that need attention. Thanks John...life was busy before, but since mid November, it ramped up a few notches...outlook for next few months not so promising... If they'd let me move a few tools in a room at the hospital might not be all that bad 3 squares a day brought to you, own room, own TV, bathroom someone else cleans well not really. Appreciate the concern
January 3, 20179 yr Wife & daughter have been fighting this bug for over a week now, both have turned a corner, I hope. Hope you all feel better soon. Spent a few hours yesterday in the shop starting a scroll saw project for my nephew, should have the cutting done today.
January 3, 20179 yr Spent most of the day just sitting in the chair. I was going to go walking for a little exercise, but the rain moved in and it's too hard to get in and out. So watched a little football had some company come by and just rested. this morning was back to therapy and they wore me out. Came home, iced my knee and slept for two hours.
