October 25, 20169 yr Author Popular Post Lew - you said " I replaced all of the bolts in my 735 with ones from Fastenal. Also used anti-seize on each one for easier removal when changing blades. " Since Fastenal is a brand, what type of bolts did you get? To all - Took the 735 to the DeWalt hospital yesterday. ER Doc said, "Worst case I've ever seen. It may take a couple of weeks, but we'll fix her up better than new." Cutter head seemed to be OK according to him. All under warranty of course.

Great to hear! Now for root cause analysis to prevent any possible recurrence...board can be replaced...limbs, eyes and lives, not so much!
October 25, 20169 yr Fred, that's great to hear. Really glad the doc could fix it up. Did he offer any diagnosis?

Did they mention replacing all the bolts?
October 25, 20169 yr I guess that I have been turned down so many times that it surprises me when I hear of good customer service. Good Show! I get so tired of arguing with service dept. that over the years I have just given up and bought a different brand. When I bought bought my 735 years ago, it was damaged in shipping and they replaced the broken parts right away. Herb Edited October 25, 20169 yr by Dadio

October 25, 20169 yr I wish I could tell you a part number Fred. I took a bolt to the local Fastenal dealer and explained that I wanted ones that were harden and wouldn't strip out the heads when being tightened/loosened. They checked the threads/diameter/dimensions and ordered what I needed. I'm still looking to see if I saved the receipt.
