August 10, 201610 yr comment_67684 I'm still experimenting with ornament finishes. I got an idea and applied it to this one. Not once, but several times. Learning from each application.The first finish has to be right, the second application has to be the right density and the lathe speed is critical. I think it came out looking good. Now I am going to advance that idea some on the next one. What do you think Lew? Report

August 11, 201610 yr Author comment_67687 When I first started making them, I gave them to my grandchildren. As I continued, my wife said " I want that one" and that one. And so on. So it has become her collection. They are displayed in our living room. Report
