For a few years I was a regular on Wood Magazine forums. It was OK and then they did some things that peeved me. I just quit.  I have not been back until tonight. I looked things over and not much had changed. I instantly compared it to this site. It wasn't good. They should come here to see how a great site looks and works. Maybe their motivation is gone or they don't care. Most likely they don't want to spend any money to improve.

You just made my year Ron! Thanks so much for your kind remarks, there is a ton of work that goes into this community behind the scenes, and it's nice to see that it is appreciated like this, thank you sir!

And we appreciate your hard work and dedication to the cause, John.

We could not run this site without you guys Gene, our forum hosts and administrators. When I stated there is a lot hard work behind the scenes, that was an inclusion of our helpers here on TPW! Thanks for the kind words.

I couldn't agree more with the above sentiments... this is by far the best WW forum I have ever seen! Welcomes were extended almost as soon as I joined, and any problem is immediately addressed. You gentlemen are doing a fantastic job!

SHOOT, MY DAY AINT COMPLETE TIL I CHECK N HEAW.

A few of us LIVE here. The site is addicting.

It's really good as it is. I'm sure there is something that needs to be changed, I juts don't know what it is. But the increase in traffic has really put it over the top.

Not sure how it would benefit this site but, the Lumberjocks' "Pulse" page pulls together a plethora of interesting, informative and varied topics. Mostly woodworking related. Sorta like our Free For All on steroids, in format.

The last few posts in this topic, did you guys mean to post these replies in

Our pulse version is much better than there's @Gene Howe.
