steven newman Posted March 6, 2016 Report Posted March 6, 2016 This came in the mail yesterday, finally Ohio Tool Co. 0-7. Wood was in great shape, too. Other things weren't so much. Iron and chipbreaker were bent, badly. Got the chipbreaker almost straightened back out, the iron? Hammer didn't work, a vise and my hands was even worse....SNAP!! Bummer. I have a spare, but it is a Stanley version... Took a while to rehab the rest, but Same plane. Now, IF you want all the gorey details...... Quote
Bundoman Posted March 7, 2016 Report Posted March 7, 2016 Steve, Nice looking O7! I Might be able to provide an Ohio Iron for it but not certain. I will look what is in the box when I can get some shop time. I know that I had one from a donor O7 a year ago or so but not sure if I still have it. Mine was an O7 that had become 2 three and a halves so I parted it out. Brent John Morris and steven newman 2 Quote
Fred W. Hargis Jr Posted March 10, 2016 Report Posted March 10, 2016 You really did a nice job on that, had to be a lot of work. Quote
steven newman Posted March 11, 2016 Author Report Posted March 11, 2016 I have a relative or in Sidney, OH. Does quite a bit of truck work. Silverado Trucks. sells and installs all sorts of custom parts for trucks. happens to have a decent welder...Mig or Tig, one of the wire types. Next time I'm over there, I might se IF he could weld the blade back up.... Fred: It didn't really take all that long on this one....I have had a lot worse. Some even took a second day to do... Quote
