That's way cool~!!

You  - - ahem - - ummm - - er - - you do realize - - ummmm - - that you gotta bring it in from out by the bird feeder or the rain'll get in, but not till after the squirrels have used your internet for all manner of nutty things.

Cliff,

Thanks.

It was out by the bird feeder because I was trying to catch a Cuckoo Bird for inside it.:P

It's a Steampunk Komputator, which means I'll have to fill it with water so's I can make steam to power it! ;)

I don't need any squirrels, I do plenty of nutty things without any help.

BTW, I'm now running W10 Home 64 bit on 8 year old hardware. Is that nutty enough?

Well, I finally got a bit more done on the "Komputator"

First off I got the Thermaltake RamOrb finned copper coolers installed on the memory sticks.

I've got similar coolers for the video cards, but they will require the fabrication of different mounting brackets to fit my video cards. :(

It's not a big deal, but I'll have to get some 1/16" x 1/2" brass, and a 2mm tap for the mounting studs.

I also got the motherboard upper case area framed out.

Here's a few views of the upper case set into place on the lower case.

I also took apart one of those small Thermal Electric Cooler (TEC)(Peltier) wine refrigerators apart for cooling the upper half of the case.

This was a freebie roadside find.  Can't resist a freebie. :D

This is a 172 watt unit, so should have no problem keeping the upper case section cool.B)

I was going to replace the aluminum heat sinks with copper finned units, but decided not to due to the fact of how well the unit is sealed.

This unit is adjustable from roughly 46°F to 72°F.

I'll be building this into the top of the case.

That's about it for today.

It is really beginning to take shape.
