Thanks Hutch!

Larry the machine will be displayed in an old building that used to be a lumber store and mill here in Bountiful Utah.

The Crescent was purchased new by the mill.

Jack I didn't get a chance to take any more pics but these should work. They were taken during tear-down.

What kind of paint system did you use to shot it????

Shane,

I hate you! (LOL) Geez, I am working on a restoration of a Lathe and can't even begin to think, how am I going to get even close to that work.

You set the bar so high NASA will be in touch.

Great work!

WOW! - Remarkable transformation - The new owner must be overjoyed - I especially like the pin striping - Do you think that it looked that good orginally, when new?

That motor looks like it could power a street car - Excellent work - You must really enjoy what you do - I am so envious.

Hutch,

I have been using an old conventional sprayer that I bought at a yard sell for years, but decided it was time to break down and buy a nice one, so I spent a few hundred and picked up a nice HVLP sprayer from the paint supplier I use.

I haven't really had a chance to talk to the owner about the machine, I have been dealing with "his people" but I will as soon as I get a chance and see if he has any info.

Beautiful restoration, beautiful machine.

What an amazing project. It's a beauty! I agree with others, the details with the gold paint really take it to the next level.

Can't get over how good it looks, you've done a fine job .

Just starting to do up a rma planer cant decide on a colour but at the minute the black and gold you used is what I want to use. Is it enamel black and how many coats did you use ?

Regards,

Mick
