Here is a shop drawing I made up awhile back for a customer. It's a base cabinet, the cabinet was made from solid pine and poplar then painted. Feel free to use the drawing for inspiration.

Nice...I gather you're not a "sketchup guy"...?  I like paper n pencil also...mine are not always to scale...

Mine are all freehand on a scrap of wood or a scratch pad, or in the back of my mind, what ever is left of it.
