Zona Fine Kerf Razor Saw
Five years ago I bought one of these as a primary crafting / luthier saw. 6 1/2" and 32 tpi is fun, but not the life of the party. I was a dancing fool with lampshade on head. And wondered why Zona go zonky.
After replacing Zona with Lynx 8" 20tpi "Gent's" backsaw, I thought I was moving into a more refined arena of crafter. Maybe even a 'woodcrafter'. But history repeats itself, I had some cuts which screamed for a light 32tpi, almost razor-blade of a saw.
It's called a razor saw for a reason. Light, delicate cuts, a few back cuts, and I'm through my .5mm heartpine planking.
.010″ thick, made in the USA, about $10 each
I've got two new; the old to be gifted to a budding crafter.
