A couple Quetions. What did you use to carve it? And, why do you think the Waterlox didn't work?

Used a WeCheer power carver from Woodcraft for most of it. The finer lines used a micromotor carver. The Waterlox did not give a plastic like gloss finish and does not feel good to touch. Watco shines nicely but not high gloss and feel very silky to touch. Also Waterlox is prone to coagulation rather rapidly if not sealed from air , even in the original can if you do not get all the air out
