a set of Japanese marking knives, I'd like to thank Keith Mealy for helping me identify what these knives are used for, marking. Used for scribing fine lines on wood, they are very sharp.

Very Cool! Looks like there are both left and right side knives.

Good eye Lew, actually only one is a lefty, second from the right, all of them are laying on the flat hollow ground side.

I love these tools, very cool indeed.
