Maloof Chair in Progress

A Maloof Chair in progress, this chair is being made by Mike Johnson, the first paid employee of Maloof from his early years.

Maloof entrusted Mike with the daily operations of the shop, and he passed on the legacy to Mike upon Sam's death.

I got to sit and watch Mike shape the headrest for this chair with rasp. It was fun. We came back an hour later and he had closed up shop around 3:30pm.
