Grandpadave52 62,600 Posted October 27, 2018 Report Beautiful piece of craftsmanship. Just from the pictures you can tell that is made with precision and someone who takes extra pride in what they do. FlGatorwood 1 Quote
John Morris 41,415 Posted October 27, 2018 Report It is a work of art Gramps. I have used it already and it cuts like a dream. I attempted to resaw with it and I was doing ok, but I really need to pick up a kerfing plane to kerf the board edges before I resaw, it's hard to keep it from drifting from just a pencil line. I would not use it mainly for resawing, there is another saw I would like acquire for that based on the Roubo veneer saw, which is waaay more apt to be friendlier for resawing. Saw below is not my saw, just one I'd like to make for resawing. But my saw pictured, cuts very accurately, I tried it on a 4/4 poplar and it was easy to control and stay on the line. Not too mention, that pistol grip handle, feel oh so good! FlGatorwood 1 Quote
