lew Administrator September 5, 20178 yr Author stats SWEET! I like the counterbalance look of this one!
Dale Felice Members September 5, 20178 yr Author stats Thank you. This was off the top of my head. No drawings nothing. I just went at the pine log. Can't wait to detail.
Dale Felice Members September 5, 20178 yr Author stats Can't wait for finishing. It will smooth the fur in and create depth even more.
Grandpadave52 Members September 10, 20178 yr Author stats What vision and transformation from a "chunk of wood." Is the wood ash?
Dale Felice Members September 10, 20178 yr Author stats The wood is actually pine. Very easy to carve. The sanding I do makes it very white like ash. Thank you for the comment!

Dale Felice Members September 10, 20178 yr Author stats Chains not usually. Some ppl do. If i was to in which yrs ago it did you can spray oven cleaner on chains or use carb choke cleaner. I hand file unless the chain is wayyy off. I learned through dept of forestry to hand sharpen well. Where it does show though is air filter because of cutting with the grain. It gets really fine so keep it clean! The clutch as well, there is oil buildup with dust so you must pull apart and scrub with tooth brush in it. Muffler screen heat with torch and wire brush it. However echo makes a new 2 stroke oil that had cleaner in it. I will be running it in next batch of mix so we will see.
Dale Felice Members September 10, 20178 yr Author stats You can also clean chain by cutting with the grain in per say oak or ash. Just enough so it will shine chain.
