Thank you!  The rough in time was only 20 minutes or so. The finish is what takes the most. This was a cherry log from a tree in my new back yard. There's more to come!

Did you do some burning on it or is it airbrushed?

Both. I burn heavy  then flap sand with a sand O  flex.  Then burn again. Then airbrush. I then coat with log oil.

The cherry has a dark hue so it fit  the bill nicely.

It turned out great IMO...my perception of the base is a stone or cliff side appearance. I really like the look.

Yes it's stone. I used white paint brushed with black spray paint and tinted teak log oil for color variance. I did it before and it was stellar!

Some of the new stuff im coming out with is going to be decent. We moved and its quiet here so my projects are gonna be way better. I have a few shows to do so im hurrying to make deadlines. I have about 35 projects up now.
