The jig to make the bullet points is nothing more than a ramp that the router rides up onto at the end of the flute. This actually solves a problem as well, it's very hard to not get a burn at that point when stopping and backing up, even harder to clean the burn up.

Mr. Hargis - fantastic idea - now we know how our ancestors did it.  Question - tell us a little more about speed of router, depth of cut, etc ?  This woodworker would like to know 'cause I seem to burn too much when I try to do flutes.
