Box is a present to the Wife's Pastor at the Church she goes to.   Plan to deliver it next Sunday......as to what will go inside?  That is up to Pastor...

Beautiful box, Steve. Your work is awesome. Especially since you "rescue" all the hand tools you use. 

Seriously, when's the last time you bought a new hand tool off the shelf?  Or a piece of, other than construction lumber, from a dealer, for that matter?

That is a WOW  You have to be a woodworker to see the work and appreciate the  craftsmanship involved. Great job. Keep it up.

Yeah, handcut box joints (he does dovetails too) hand planed raised panels and dados, and thicknessing, all done with tools he's found at yard sales or other rust havens, and expertly re furbished. It all speaks to Steve's depth of knowledge and skills. I'm in awe.
