Got any pictures of the cupboard yet Ron? What are you building it out of?

I'm finishing a cupboard this weekend.  Next week I start on a corner desk for my grand-daughters.

I am right there with you Greg. I though I was going to spend the time right after Christmas through February getting ready for this coming year. I sold every cutting board I had last year and could have sold more if I have been able to get them made. Now I am just over a month away from starting the season and don't have anything made yet. I am about to get going in the shop. A little this weekend but starting next week the production will pick up now.

And the list goes on and on and on, I need to hustle I'm getting behind already this year. I've got 2 wall clocks that I need to cut this weekend, luckily they are the same so I can stack cut them. I neeed to glue up some wood for some wine bottle balancers too, for the upcoming craft show season, which starts in a little over a month.

Gene that is going to be one really nice cabinet. My youngest wants me to build him one. I think I am going to see if I can get him out there and just help him build it. Let him do most of the work.

Just wait and see the upper body muscles I will have after running that sander!

Gene Howe said:

No worries, Lew.

We have enough to fill several cabinets.

Then there's the "cold, dead fingers" thing.

John, Happy that beast arrived safe and sound. Builds upper body strength, for sure.

Sorry to hear it didn't make the grade Phil. Sometime it just happens.

I tried to make a triangle style dulcimer but instid of butting the ends or cutting them at a angel, I tried using finger joints. worked good on the bottom end but when I tried to bring the top skinny pat together was just not working. I may try it again in a normal box dulcimer sometime with two different woods.

Thanks Lew

Phil,

That sounds like a tough problem. Interesting but, tough. Simply trying to visualize it boggles my mind.
