January 25, 201313 yr Well it has been a long week but my wonderful wife and I spent the day together just doing nothing. We were both of the opinion that we didn't want to make any decisions today. That made it tough to decide where to eat lunch. LOL. Anyway, I got a couple of nice packages on the door step this week. I got this really cool sander from Gene. This is a big boy sander. A 4 x 24" sander weighing in a 15 lbs. I will be working out this weekend so I can hold on to this baby. Talking about eating some wood this should really do the job. I also got in one of my Christmas presents that has been on back order. Thankfully WoodCraft got it in and shipped it to me. A new WoodPecker Drill press table. Looking forward to getting some of this put together this weekend. So these are a few of the projects that I will be working on this weekend, so what about you? What are your woodworking plans for this weekend, will you be working in the shop, home improvement, shivering, HDL or just plan old R&R? You know we at TPW always want to know what you are working on. We love to see those projects and we love pictures so please tell us what you doing and show us some pics. Inquiring minds want to see those projects on your bench. By the way, I know I am little late on Friday posting this, but I did make it. Now let's get those projects listed. January 26, 201313 yr Here's what I'm working on. Undoubtedly the most unnecessarily complicated build I've ever done. I've got the base carcass done and  most of the solid wood pieces cut. this weekend will be all taken up with trim and interior pieces for the base. I've found several mistakes in the cutting list.....FRUSTRATING!!!!! This is what my son wanted. I hope his twin doesn't see it and want one, also. Gene'The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.' G.
