March 30, 201313 yr If you walk into my shop and look in every nook and cranny you won't find a miter saw anywhere. Oh, I own one but it get used so little I keep it in a storage shed and retrieve it when needed. I cut my miters on the sliding saw with a store bought miter cutting device. It work well and is accurate. Somewhere in Kenya.... a village is missing its idiot! Alaskans for Gobble Warming
March 30, 201313 yr I flip my fence to the whatever angle I need for the cut just using the scale provided, lock it in place, and it's dead on every time. When I want to return to spot on 90 Degrees I just return the fence to position and lock it in and I'm golden.I used to use a sled on my conventional TS and that worked very nicely too.Hey~!! It's a hobby~!! It's not supposed to make sense.

March 31, 201313 yr I just recently saw that video. Great Idea. Had I thought of that 11 years ago when I bought mine I'd probably tried my hand at making one myself. The Felder one is both heavy and expensive. Cliff said: Nice tool richard. I've been thinking of building one like this: Hey~!! It's a hobby~!! It's not supposed to make sense.
