Hi guys I just wanted to update you on the lathe. The headstock came back a few days ago but honestly I have been too sick to deal with it til now. Anyway I got it all hooked up and it runs like a brand new lathe! No rattles at all. According to the repair ticket, there were 2 bad bearings in it as a couple of you had suggested but they didnt feel rough or look bad at all so i didn't realize that it was a bearing issue. I guess that is why we have guys like Mark and Joe at PSI to help figure these things out for us. They also did replace the broken speed indicator sprocket as warranty repair too.

So now I can get back to what I love doing! Mark or Joe if you are a member here of this forum, Thank you very much for the excellent service!
