A transplanted Brit in Texas was saying that the spellings and pronunciations in the US are bastardizing the "Queen's English". A fellow Texan replied that it wasn't bastardization, it was evolving. Something to which the Brits have an aversion, apparently. I still like their cars and their humor. And their mystery TV shows.Gene'The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.' G. K. Chesterton
