Hi Everyone
I was asked to create a special keepsake chest for a couple in memory of their first child.
The chest is made from Peruvian Walnut and measures 28 x 16 x 10. The Memorial Plaque is made from Holly and laser engraved. Although I had to learn a few new techniques in the construction of this project I can’t say this was a fun project.

 

 

 

Mike, it is fitting, and the quality is grand, as solemn as the experience must of been, your attention to detail and beautiful work you put into this, is beyond perfection, it is a very nice piece, and deserving of the situation, great job Mike.

 

Just out of curiosity, can you tell us if it was a loss pre-born or in infancy or youth?

I don't know all of the details, only that the child lived for 19 hours--so sad.
