2 pieces I'm sure are walnut, 2 are oak , the red wood not exactly sure exact species but all are really nice pices of lumber . I will definitely find some good uses for them.

But really, it is! That is there specialty, no doubt they threw some nice Red Wood chunks in there

Yeah I figured it was redwood but thought it might have a specific species of it. So you got me John .

The redwood is Old Growth Giant Sequoia - I meant to send you the certificate of authenticity with it. It is actually from the salvage that we did and you can read about by following this link: https://farwestforest.com/industry-articles-by-jenn/

 

 

Some of the redwood salvage from this project can also be seen on Animal Planets reality show the Redwood Kings.
