Friday again folks.

Been one heck of a month here "Two Weeks From Anywhere".

Have had more frequent and longer power outages since We Energies did their system "Upgrade" than we've had in the past 25 years. (30.5 hrs Monday into Tuesday)

So as I move on to the next "Disaster".

Sorry to hear about all the troubles @Larry Buskirk . Even UPSs won't last that long! Glad to know you are safe!!!

Still putzing with my serpentine drawer sideboard. It has 2 lower doors that I made, and will now remake, because I didn't like the look of the first attempt. But today I will be trying to get the peaches in (what few are left) and maybe we can make some pies to freeze over the weekend. Lastly, I'm trying to keep the cooons out of my sweet corn. The electric fence is running but it looks I still have some raiding the garden, I may put out the trail camera tonight to see if it's deer instead of coons.

with no pending projects, time to clean up the shop. got a lot done this morning, still some vacuuming to go later.

Took Wednesday off work. Mother in law had triple bypass surgery, spent all day at the hospital with my wife. We’re getting caught up on chores in between visiting her.

Break in the weather so, mowed yesterday cleaning up yard today also picking tomatoes and sweet corn, tomorrow pm getting to help put up corn, maybe a break in there somewhere 😅

Rest...just REST....turned over the Key to the old place on Friday evening...we be DONE moving out. Now we get to sort and put away LOTS of stuff, as soon as we figure out where things are..

New Shop? currently all piled up in a lot of boxes and piles...can't even walk in the area where the shop will go...maybe Tuesday I start in moving things around a bit...we'll see.

1/3 Lemonade...1/3 Tonic Water...1/3 Gunpowder Irish Gin (84 proof!) served ICE cold in a very TALL glass....

Great to see that you're getting more elbow in the new shop Bandit.

Got the pantry drawers installed Thursday and Friday worked on last of the shop drawers. Picked peas in PM . Yesterday more cleanup of vines and Saw Brier on the creek then picked last of the butter beans. Pulled poles and next week will bush hog and clean the garden out. Son will help burn some of the brush and trees in the morning.

It is about 10 degrees cooler today but will only last 3 or 4 days.

@steven newman I can sympathize with your shop move . Has taken me almost a year to build , wire, seal and set up , plus building cabinets. Still deciding what is the best places for lighting and what goes where. All this was complicated by garden and outside work.
