Good to hear you're healing Bandit. Beautiful day Saturday spent time cleaning the flower beds. Crocuses have sprouted & daffodils are blooming, everyone else in the garden are stretching their legs. Starting to regret fertilizing the grass last fall because it's thick and long and had to cut it. This has to be the earliest I've cut the grass but with the way the weather has been I have no choice. Haven't had any shop time but I am hoping with the weather warming up this will change.

I worked a little on my drawer fronts over the weekend, but the big thing was i built (ready for this?) a pallet! Seriously, and I didn't even use a coffee table to do it. This was for a tractor attachment that defied me lifting it to move with straps...so I put it on a pallet. Otherwise I did some yard stuff in the warmth and now that it's cold again I'll be back in the shop. I'm moving on to the boxes for my drawers.

Got my Friday goals for the weekend accomplished including the complete service of granddaughters car plus a couple other things fixed on it.

In addition, I assembled the Christmas present my wife bought me. She "forgot" she bought it for me until I found it in the back of her Jeep late January. In reality, I think she bought it more for herself than me🤭

Week ahead donut know yet; depends on the weather and if I can get my moto-vation running, but a couple errands to run plus haircut week on Friday.

In-progress pics of the assembly job:

Forgot to take a picture of the assembled unit but file footage looks like this. Mrs. didn't want a picture of me pulling her around the yard😆 Sides and end come off easily with 4 latches.

an Email, today

This house, we have rented for the last 13 years....2 years ago the owner died....Got a notice that this house has been cleared to be sold by the estate...released from Probate...

Unless I can get a home loan....the realtor will start showing this house for sale....although..we have first dibs as we have had an offer in for it for the past year. Just near to arrange the loan, now...

Bad luck seems to follow me around, this year...

Worked on the TS fence a bit. Got out my dial indicator. After fiddling around with that setup I then worked on adjusting the fence. Gave up for the day when I had the front zeroed and far end 0.08 mm out. Didn't attempt to change the faces as the outer white surface seemed a bit rough. Will.see if the overall fence adjustment helps with the cut issue I had last week.

Also got the doubled plywood miter saw platform glued up (about 36x27). Need to improve that process for the other longer counters as had some issue with getting the two layers glued together. Tried screws to pull them together but wasn't snug as I wanted so added clamps and rescrewed. This project is fighting me a bit!

@Grandpadave52 those wagons are really handy to have. Marie had one years ago and somewhere over time (and 2 moves) it disappeared). I wish we still had it.

I think it will be much easier than using the wheel barrow for many tasks. I do have a fairly good size yard cart for pulling behind the mower, but for "her" use ideas, not really convenient or practical. The "D" handle comes off quickly by pulling a pin leaving a draw bar to pull behind a garden tractor if desired.

I've tried to buy one of these at auctions the past couple years but the darn things bring almost new prices. She actually got a pretty good buy on it at BORG in December.

Well, tops are glued up - clamps, cauls, and screws (may or may not remove the screws after glue dries).

Will have to trim the sides with tracksaw so I can have a good surface for some hardwood edging. Think I'll use some of the walnut I picked up for a low price recently - lot of prep to get that ready but love walnut so the accent will be a nice feature.

First two loads with the new little green wagon

50# cracked corn, 40# sunflower seed, 40# mixed seed; handled it fine; should have bought one of these a long time ago.

12# cat; she's just too lazy to walk.

Little suspicious that she's guarding the bird seed

She's thinking of the juicey morsel she'll have when a bird comes around.

Not much time in the shop today but did get the laminated plywood tops trimmed up so I can add some edge banding. Starting to look at the walnut I have (just a couple ended up in the picture). Good practice for a future house project.
