March 18Mar 18 Had to do some gardening yesterday.I needed to lose some branches on a couple trees and cut some logs into slabs.I was moping and feelin' it's all such a chore...BUT THEN...I remembered I made these two saws...a Bow Saw and Frame Saw. Made out of Pine and parts of bandsaw blade. Now the chore became fun and easy to do!Cheers!MrRick
March 18Mar 18 Popular Post hmmmm....i just busted a bandsaw blade and put it in the trash.....but i could get it back out and make something useful with part of it. or a 105" long bread knife...... :)
March 18Mar 18 Author Oh man! @DAB There's so much you can use busted bandsaw blades for..Like scratchstock cutters, kerfing blades, scrapers, etc. Get that out of the trash now! You won't regret it.

March 20Mar 20 I cut this blade down as a joke for the scroll saw; but I think I may be able to use it to cut day old breadsticks into croutons.
March 20Mar 20 Author @Wichman3 Have you (for funs and giggles) tried to cut wood with it? Just curious if it would work. But be careful.

But be careful. No, the saw I installed it on (for pictures) was a two speed Delta, the low speed was useless and the high speed was unsafe for that blade ( very wide and aggressive, meant for pruning green wood ).
March 20Mar 20 Author @Wichman3 oh..I knew what the blade is used for..Just was curious if it would actually cut. I would think it unsafe that's why I said be careful.
