Here's a table I made for our foyer next to front door. 

It has a small pull out drawer in the front with a little handle on it.

I made a drawer swing down lock at the drawers back to prevent pull out.

I made tapered legs on a table saw jig that I made. All construction was mortise and tenon.

I used a General Finishes Java dye stain and top coated with their high performance water based polyurethane.
