It is around 4” in diameter and 2.75” tall. The finial is 2” tall. I did green flock on the inside. The box is cherry.

Spectacular Rusty:Praise:. Love the thin walls. Looks like you've mastered the laser too. A very special gift to be treasured. Thanks for sharing.

Really nice work Sir! That is definitely a gift to be treasured.

Beautiful piece especially love the finial. Well done sir:Praise:

Nicely done Rusty.

Beautiful work Rusty! The UV in sunlight will darken cherry wood. Did you account for this with your finish or leaving it natural.

Gorgeous piece, Rusty! Love turning cherry. What is the finial made from?

Thanks, the finial is genuine imitation ebony, it’s walnut dyed with black India ink.

Did not take any of that into account. My wife told me a couple of days ago so I didn’t have time for my normal finish. This has five coats of spray on lacquer. It drys fast and can meet tight deadlines.

Thanks. A friend of mine turned me onto the Keith Burns style finial and I fell in love with them. I use this style a lot.
