Friday again folks.

Here "Two weeks From Anywhere" we're suffering from "Weather Whiplash".

It was 48 with rain yesterday, and 12 feels like -23 this morning. 

So as I try to figure out what to wear from day to day,

Hopefully getting "final" placement of tools with my shop reorganization as Monday the minisplit is scheduled to be installed.

We have a POS sideboard in our living room and I've been asked to make a replacement. Should be interesting for me because the existing one has serpentine drawers, something I've never done. These things are sometimes just bandsawn but I'm hoping to do them as a bent lamination. Si I'm pulling some stock and cutting the plies to try it out. Mixed in with this I'm still putzing with some pet urns that are long overdue. This past week I did do some re-arranging in the shop to accommodate the aging problem I'm going through. Moving some heavier items down to a lower position on the shelves and storage places, thing like that.

Putting the final finish on the vessel and getting ready to create the filler. Thinking maybe I'll do some Christmas shopping next week.

Also...will be cleaning up and trying to "Type" a $26 and change Jack Plane...

Since I didn't have a No. 5c in the til....got quite a few #5s...just not a No. 5c.....Seems to have been made right between a type 18 and a Type 19...

 

Will see how things go, today..

Wheels on the wood rack and starting to load it. 🙂

 

These are the wheels I used -not very expensive but seem heavy duty.

Yeah, I'll be waiting "Two Weeks" to do mine. 

SIL Got married today

They and my wife went to lunch

I had to go to the Dentist for 3 fillings

Xmas got moved up a week and now we have to harvest the 'Spider Farm'

Not much on tap this weekend especially with the Rollercoaster weather ride we've been experiencing but at least 99% of the snow is gone.

 

Tonight I got to watch my oldest grandson play in his first high school basketball game. He's a freshman on the Junior Varsity; season has been going for about a month but just before the season began he was diagnosed with mononucleosis. He got to start both halves as the power forward...he's 6'3". He did pretty well with 5 points, 5 rebounds, a couple of steals but had to rest about half of each of the four, seven minute quarters...team lost by 10 though.

 

Sunday, church services followed by our annual carry-in Christmas dinner since we canceled services last Sunday due to the snow and bitter cold.

 

I donut know what else I'll be doing but probably should start checking my lists and seriously begin thinking about Christmas shopping. We start getting more daylight Monday...that should help.

 

 

Did my annual Christmas delivery run today. Started once more on the mantle . Tomorrow more on mantle and then the big Ole Miss game tomorrow afternoon. Now if I just remember to take pictures.
