I have both. I probably will have put on eventually. But I only use it for his food. Report

I never heard that's is healthier to eat with their food raised. I love the Shou Sugi Ban doggy food stand but Wow! ... So what about all the wild animals? What about wolves, coyotes, foxes? 😉 Report

Dunno, it's what our vet told us to do but we never got around to it. But doing a little further research on the subject, it's a mixed bag of results, could be good, could be bad for your furry friends. Report

December 3, 2025Dec 3 comment_366365 We adopted retired racing greyhounds for 25 years. We were blessed with 5 of them. The vet absolutely recommended raised feeding bowls for them. Now we have a mini poodle (my brides once in a lifetime dog) and a Berndoodle. We continued the tradition of raised bowls for these two. I made them custom for them. @Mark Wilson Excellent work, I enjoy the pop in the grain. Report
