Week ahead: pick-up-stick game, maybe mowing and mulching, then a big Wednesday outing for a haircut, a few errands followed by my obligation to inspect the area donut factory. Gunny, Fred W. Popular Post Fred W. Hargis Jr Posted Monday at 09:01 PM Popular Post Report Posted Monday at 09:01 PM I was so bored yesterday morning I went to the local gun show. I was last there probably 30 years ago, and i was so unimpressed I hadn't returned. I'm happy to say nothing has changed...still not much of interest to me. Other than that I was in a big fight Saturday with my tractor. I had bought a second tractor some time back and it was time for the first oil change. It took me 45 minutes to get the factory filter off, and I was completely exhausted once it was done (remember, I'm 77). The tractor is a Korean make, but I'll bet they hire Japanese Sumo wrestlers to put those oil filters on. I also need to change 2 hydraulic filters and passed fearing those same Sumo guys put them on. I did order some new wrenches to remove them, I used oil filter pliers for the oil filter. Popular Post Gerald Posted Tuesday at 03:52 AM Popular Post Report Posted Tuesday at 03:52 AM (edited) Working on so many things at once I do not even remember all of it. Mainly working on getting stuff off floor in shop buy also clearing the garage. Managed to get my parking spot in garage by stacking a bunch of stuff and taking some to shop. Still working on curtain rods and hangers. Today was mostly shop stuff. I had two shorter shelf supports I set up and pulled the lumber to the end leaving some open shelving at the wall. Moved two bookcases against the new shelves and finishing supplies ( paint and bulk chemicals go on these. pics to follow.
