I remembered it's Friday! 

 

Been a bit busy here in the land of "Two Weeks From Anywhere" so haven't been on the computer much lately. Weekend looks like it might be more of the same.

 

Mostly trying to get outdoor things done before the weather changes. 

 

What's on Your Weekend Agenda? 

 

Very little. Still in R&R mode with week one restrictions. Might take the recycling later just to get out for a bit once Granddaughter gets home from work. She can do the lifting. Rest of the weekend, watch the grass grow, leaves change colors and if I'm up to it, I may watch the spiders build some webs.

Sounds a lot like my schedule. Noticed that the grass is growing much slower and the leaves are beginning to fall a bit faster. Maybe I can get out in the shop to see if there are any spiders building webs.😀

Gonna try to complete the backlog of unfinished tasks that were put on hold while we took care of all the emergencies this past week. 

I don't have much planned for the weekend but I did just complete a small project this morning. Most of my projects are SSGAS

(Saw Sand Glue And Screw) but recently I have been getting into doing some scroll sawing. This week I added a new element of scroll sawing and then a little carving with a new Dremel Flex-Shaft I recently purchased.

For more than 30 years I have been looking at these plastic seagulls on a bathroom wall.

 

 

I decided to get rid of them and try my hand at making a wooden one.

 

 

 

Tool clean ups, and put things away....not enough lumber in the shop to start another project...yet

 

otherwise...as little as I can get away with....even less IF they let me...

honey do's, move curtains 2" higher than where they are at now, paint trim at stair case, finish staining fence, basically get house ready for daughters baby shower 🙂 

Take car in for maintenance.

 

And sleep, I'm tired!  

SWMBO is out of town, I'm "Home Alone" and Un-Supervised for the weekend!

Spent first night in new house last night, after hauling a trailer load from old house. Today loaded the trailer again. More tomorrow. Will be glad when it all gets here so things can get to a new norm and maybe get back to setting up the shop.

Worked on a box.   We're headed out of town for a late brother-in-law's memorial service.  A niece and nephew are putting us up overnight and feeding us, so I made a box as a thank-you gift.
