Popular Post Larry Buskirk Posted July 25 Popular Post Report Posted July 25 Friday again folks Is it warm enough for you? Spent most of the week running conduit and wiring for adding A/C to Bruce's building next door. Had to go into the HOT attic section over the 1950's addition to the building. Made the mistake of looking at an old soda company advertising thermometer while up there. 136° Couldn't work for long periods of time up there, but the building now has four A/C units running. So, as I take the weekend to recuperate in some of that A/C. What's on Your Weekend Agenda? Harry Brink, HandyDan, lew and 2 others 4 1 Quote

Popular Post lew Posted July 25 Popular Post Report Posted July 25 Another hot one here today, maybe just stay in the basement. HandyDan, Larry Buskirk, Fred W. Hargis Jr and 2 others 5 Quote
Popular Post Grandpadave52 Posted July 25 Popular Post Report Posted July 25 Got the driveway, fence rows and some other nuisance areas sprayed, some bushes trimmed back and ~95.375% of the weedeating done during the two days this week (& month) we haven't had sweltering heat or it wasn't raining. The past three days I've done minimal with temperatures in the mid 90's and heat indices 105°+. In short, my get-up-n-go has left the building. Not likely I'll accomplish much over the weekend either with no let up in the heat or humidity and now continual threat of isolated thunderstorms; Church Sunday. lew, Gerald, HandyDan and 2 others 3 2 Quote
Gerald Posted July 26 Report Posted July 26 Spent the whole day at the ranch. Started laying pavers at doors on shop. Got word on the big door, maybe as much as a week. Did some fill work on the septic line, would have been easier if I did this yesterday before rain. Spent the rest of the ranch day moving the dirt from septic tank hole to the back of shop for fill. lew, Grandpadave52, Fred W. Hargis Jr and 1 other 4 Quote
Popular Post kmealy Posted July 27 Popular Post Report Posted July 27 Building parts of theater set today. The last project of the day was to create a platform projection that was 7 feet on one side, 10 on the other and 3 feet wide. We needed to compute the bevel angle on a 2x6 and the length of it for the diagonal end pieces. Arctan and Pythagorean theorem to the rescue lew, Grandpadave52, Fred W. Hargis Jr and 2 others 5 Quote
