Guess GIFs aren't allowed here, but I added a short animation of the lamp on my blog post of the lamp. That post, linked above has been updated. 

Thought a bit of animation would better demonstrate the design, and gave me a chance to figure out how to make a GIF file from photos.

@lew, @John Morris; see above in bold. Thoughts, opinions, suggestions

It may be just a matter of adding that file extension to the existing list of acceptable files to share. I know John added the extension for sharing Sketchup files. @John Morris

I'm not sure it is critical that GIFs be allowed, as in all the time I've been here this is the first I thought it might be nice to post one.  Found a web site that could make them from uploaded photos and this lamp begged for a chance to dance.  Can't think of many furniture projects or CNC carvings that need more than a couple photos to reveal well.
