April 25, 20251 yr Popular Post Looks like we made it to another Friday. I'm just sitting here waiting for the return of the "Problem Child" Equinox. April 25, 20251 yr Popular Post We might be rained in today so I may do some screwing around in the shop. I'm also headed to the nursery today ( I hope) to get at least some of the garden plants and some flowers. Tomorrow may clear some so back to the yard work.
April 25, 20251 yr Popular Post Managed to get most all the yard hacked down this week except where the stick mine field among the double row of maples reside. Also got the raised garden beds cleaned up and some other outside work accomplished; two soccer matches this week both ended in 5-5 ties; baseball games went 0-2. Rain and storms will stop outside activity today; soccer match tomorrow morning. Mrs. has to work tomorrow so I'll be unsupervised for the day. Donut worry, I'll be fine. Church Sunday.
April 25, 20251 yr Author Popular Post Add another to "The to Do" list, wife has six packs of seeds to plant. Still waiting for the return of Asplundh Tree Service, they were supposed to be back on Monday a month ago. Meanwhile can't plant anything in about half of the west side until they finish, even had to move a few plants. Let's see now, I put that there, this over there, planted milkweed seeds here, there, and there. So maybe we can squeeze some in here, some there, oh heck I've still got to move that Mum. Guess I'll go put the charger on the zero turn while I try to figure out where to put what.
April 25, 20251 yr Popular Post Finished the top for a shooting table yesterday and hope to get legs on if the rain stops. Cleaning out the small stuff in my wood in prep for move. Got a woodturning picnic tomorrow. Contractor is pulling permits for construction now and sounds like a lot of hoops to jump.
April 25, 20251 yr Popular Post dropped off the cherry desk this morning, she loved it. yay. tomorrow is range work day, so i'll be there for a bit, helping to fix things up and sort things out for this shooting season. the desk for those who didn't see the other thread (same pic).
April 26, 20251 yr Popular Post Had a storm this week of the brain varity for a small project. Friday I worked out the design and gathered materials. I'm making another name plate for the newborn next door. I will post a picture when I have something to show.
