First of all I would like to thank Jim Blume for his great pattern.

This cutting is from 1/2" White Oak (very dense) using Pegus #3 blades

Finished using Watco gloss lacquer

Comments and questions are always welcome

Wow, Fred, that's amazing! Can't imagine scrolling sawing in white oak- super hard wood.

Yep, Lew, took me a minute or two.

Thanks for the comment.

Absolutely awesome Fred! Thanks for sharing, I'll have to look up Jim Blume thanks!

That is amazing Fred.:Praise: So much detail. Lots of blade R&R. What are the overall dimensions?

Thanks Grandpa ;) - overall is about 13" x 9".  Never knew that White Oak was so dense. :BangingHead:

Beautiful work Fred, good to see you back at it. I like the dark grain through the face, real nice. White oak is a challenge to cut, when I used it, I found that the grain like to pull the blade where it wanted to go. Jim Blume has a wonderful collection of patterns, something for everyone.:Praise:
