January 17, 20251 yr So with all the cold weather, I took some time to look at some of my lesser-used tools to get them into shape/sharpened so if I did want to use them they would be ready. I started with my many sets of Auger Bits and found a few pieces I didn't know what they were so I'm starting here

January 19, 20251 yr #1 looks like a marking tool. #4 new style drill bits for a brace but I have never seen any like those. #5,6,& 7 extension for a brace. I have a couple of those in my collection.
January 19, 20251 yr #1 is a drill bit for making square holes. Either that or a reamer for tapered holes like in a chair seat.

January 21, 20251 yr Author Popular Post From the Auger Bit Reference download that I just found: I also found extensions like the one above but mine is slightly different. I haven't found the reamer yet but then there are 313 pages to the download and the reamer is unmarked. Edited January 21, 20251 yr by frenchwwr
