December 21, 20241 yr Popular Post Mimi is one of those people who love heart shapes. Found this in a piece of walnut Made an inlay from it to incorporate it into her rolling pin holder- That rolling pin was one of the first I made and didn't have the ellipses lined up.
December 23, 20241 yr Popular Post I do not have a picture of this, but it is true. Back in my early years, 70 years ago, I worked with my brothers in a tree trimming job. My job was to clean up the small limbs and general clean up. As we was finishing up a job, my brother Carl called us over to where he was working. He was cutting the tree into small sections for easy transport. We looked at his last cut. This tree was 2 smaller trees that grew together years ago to become one tree.. The place he cut the tree showed that not only had he cut the tree…….he cut a golf ball dead center. Someone had placed the ball in the crotch of the young tree and it stayed there for many, many years. The tree them grew around it and became one tree. Cameras were not common and thus..no picture.
